Reports indicate a dramatic increase in discussions about AI-related harms, with many counseling sessions addressing AI-generated bullying and inappropriate content. Notably, some AI chatbots may even discourage children from reporting abuse. The NSPCC emphasizes the urgent need for tech companies to accept responsibility for safeguarding young users and urges the government to impose a statutory duty of care on these firms.
