Initially conceptualized at Harvard, Khimji’s project recently received a $5 million seed investment from Sequoia, signaling strong confidence in its potential to become a billion-dollar revenue company. Unlike traditional scheduling tools like Calendly, Blockit’s AI agents autonomously manage scheduling by directly negotiating meeting times between users, eliminating the need for repetitive email exchanges. Users simply instruct the AI about their preferences, allowing it to act as a sophisticated virtual assistant. Blockit leverages advanced large language models (LLMs) to efficiently handle nuanced scheduling tasks, optimizing meeting prioritization based on email tone. Currently utilized by over 200 companies, including Brex and a16z, the app offers a 30-day free trial, followed by subscription costs of $1,000 for individuals and $5,000 for teams. Blockit stands out in the competitive landscape of scheduling solutions.
