Amazon SageMaker AI has launched two new UI templates: Text Ranking and Question and Answer. The Text Ranking template allows human annotators to evaluate and rank multiple language model responses based on criteria like relevance and clarity. This ranked feedback aids in model refinement through Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). The Question and Answer template enables the creation of high-quality Q&A pairs from provided text passages, which serve as demonstration data for Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT). The blog details how to set up these templates in the SageMaker AI console, providing step-by-step instructions for creating labeling jobs. Both templates are designed to enhance dataset quality for training language models, aligning outputs more closely with human preferences. Additionally, an API allows programmatic job setup.
