Entire Unveils AI-Native Development Platform with $60M Seed Funding
Entire has emerged from stealth with $60 million in seed funding, initiated by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke. The company aims to revolutionize software development for the AI era. Entire’s innovative platform features a git-compatible database, a semantic reasoning layer, and an open-source CLI that captures AI agent workflows directly in Git repositories, termed “Checkpoints.” This architecture aims to replace traditional human-centric tools with systems designed for AI agents, addressing the limitations of existing development workflows that struggle to manage AI-generated code.
With existing tools unable to scale for agent-driven development, Entire positions itself as a foundational infrastructure provider, promoting persistent agent context management and improved multi-agent coordination. Its platform currently supports Anthropic Claude Code and Google Gemini CLI, with plans for others. This launch marks a pivotal shift in software development, pushing towards an AI-native software development lifecycle (SDLC) that surpasses traditional paradigms.
