Microsoft has launched the Security Dashboard for AI in public preview, designed for enterprise environments. This innovative tool aggregates risk signals and security posture from Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Purview, providing a unified view for security teams. According to Amanda Lowe, Sr. Product Manager at Microsoft, the dashboard empowers CISOs and AI risk leaders to manage AI applications and agents effectively while tracking their security posture. It includes an inventory of AI assets such as agents, models, and applications, featuring both Microsoft and third-party entities. AI-related security risks are displayed comprehensively, bolstered by Security Copilot for enhanced investigation and prioritization. With the ability to conduct natural language queries, security teams can pinpoint unmanaged AI agents and explore risk contexts. The dashboard also assesses AI security controls and offers actionable recommendations for risk management. Access is available to organizations using eligible Microsoft security products during this preview phase.
