80% of Enterprise AI Tools Lack Effective Management

admin

Zluri has released “The State of AI in the Workplace 2025 Report,” a comprehensive study on enterprise AI adoption and security challenges, analyzing data from over 160 organizations and 400,000 users. The research reveals that AI has shifted from experimental use to becoming essential for businesses, with some adopting over 100 AI applications. However, IT and security teams only have visibility and control over fewer than 20% of these tools, exposing firms to risks like data breaches. CEO Ritish Reddy highlights this issue as “AI sprawl,” where unmanaged AI agents create vulnerabilities. The report includes an “Enterprise AI Leaderboard,” with ChatGPT leading the field, and lists emerging apps across various categories. Organizations are favoring tools that provide immediate value, such as AI chatbots and voice recognition software, while code generation tools gain traction beyond engineering. Overall, the report underscores the need for real-time visibility and governance in this evolving landscape.
