Humans Balance Fast and Slow Thinking, While AI Lacks This Duality

admin

Humans utilize both fast and slow thinking processes, whereas AI typically lacks this dual approach. This presents a significant opportunity for asynchronous AI Agents. For instance, when an AI Agent is engaged in real-time tasks like phone calls, it must balance quick responses with accuracy, reflecting the need for both fast and slow thinking. My solution is to implement a ‘Strategist’ alongside an ‘Executor.’ The Executor manages immediate responses (‘fast thinking’), while the Strategist focuses on deeper analysis and planning (‘slow thinking’). This design framework is fundamental to the AI Agents I’m developing. Does that align with your understanding?
