He noted that AI technologies can significantly enhance medical accuracy by reducing human error during diagnoses. For instance, an AI system can accurately identify critical areas in cancer biopsy slides that pathologists may overlook, thus improving patient outcomes. Moreover, AI can analyze comprehensive patient data to highlight important findings, ensuring no critical information is missed. Dr. Singh advocated for interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare, given the complexities of modern medicine, citing the rapid evolution of diagnostic technologies from CT scans to genomics. He underscored that while AI supports medical professionals, it does not replace their expertise. Additionally, he noted shifting disease patterns in India due to lifestyle changes, reinforcing the need for innovative healthcare solutions.
