Samsung’s internal research indicates that nearly 80% of users engage with multiple AI agents, prompting the company to enhance its Galaxy AI initiative. The upcoming Galaxy AI will feature multi-agent support and OS-level integration, streamlining user interactions and maintaining the familiar Galaxy experience. This system-level integration allows seamless control of various AI agents without switching apps, enabling a more natural conversational context.
The first of these agents, Perplexity, can be activated with “Hey Plex” or through the power button on upcoming flagship devices, including the Galaxy S26 series. Perplexity will be integrated into core Samsung apps like Gallery and Notes, as well as select third-party applications, supporting complex workflows.
Samsung aims to create an inclusive AI ecosystem that offers users flexibility and control, reinforcing its commitment to innovation. Additionally, an upgraded Bixby in One UI 8.5 introduces natural language processing for improved user interaction and real-time web searches.
