DetentionTrackr has introduced an innovative AI-driven maritime intelligence platform that consolidates global Port State Control (PSC) detention data into real-time insights for ship managers, charterers, P&I clubs, and port agents. This platform aggregates live detention reports, enriches them with comprehensive vessel profiles, and provides data on inspection histories, ownership, and risk assessments. With active detentions polled hourly, DetentionTrackr recorded 72 vessel detentions in February, totaling 164 for 2026. Co-founder Thomas Cox emphasized that this platform provides a unified view of detentions enriched with detailed intelligence. It is designed for operational users, including crews and technical suppliers, aiming to transform fragmented PSC records into a centralized source of actionable intelligence. Co-founder David Holly stated that while PSC data is publicly available, it is often disorganized; thus, DetentionTrackr serves to streamline and structure this information for enhanced operational efficiency. This solution represents a new category in maritime intelligence.
