Verizon and Nokia are set to deploy a private 5G network at Thames Freeport in the U.K., marking a significant step in Verizon’s expansion of its private 5G initiatives. The collaboration includes the deployment of Nokia Digital Automation Cloud and multiple MX Industrial edge devices, utilizing the low-cost 5G Band 77, which is on a local-area licensed basis.
