Aven Hospitality, a US-based hotel technology group, has introduced the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enhance hotel technology infrastructure. This initiative allows hotels to seamlessly share verified rates, availability, and content with AI-driven discovery platforms via its SynXis Central Reservation System and Booking Engine. The integration addresses the growing influence of AI on booking behaviors, eliminating the need for custom integrations at individual properties. By streamlining data sharing and allowing hotels to maintain control over pricing and transactions, Aven Hospitality aims to remove barriers that hinder adoption of emerging technologies. The company is also collaborating with AI sector partners to improve data governance and system integration. An upcoming MCP Early Access Programme for select hotel chains is set for the second quarter of 2026, aimed at refining the system’s operational performance. This project is part of Aven’s strategy to adapt to AI-influenced distribution channels and enhance hotel visibility in a competitive market.
