Adobe Firefly Mobile App Unveils Innovative AI Tool for Professional Creatives

Adobe has launched the Firefly mobile app for iPhone and Android, allowing users to generate high-resolution images and videos from text prompts. Originally introduced in 2023 within Photoshop, Firefly now operates as a standalone app, offering a range of AI models for creative content. Users can edit images by adding new elements, changing backgrounds, or removing unwanted features using the Generative Fill tool. Additionally, the app can convert text prompts into video clips or transform AI-generated images into videos. Ely Greenfield, Adobe’s Senior VP and CTO, emphasized the app’s aim to provide a comprehensive platform for creators, integrating various generative models from Adobe and its partners, including those from OpenAI and Google. The Adobe Firefly mobile app is free to download, with subscription plans starting at $9.99 per month, accessible through the App Store and Google Play.
