Adobe Unveils Cutting-Edge AI Tools for Photoshop and Premiere Pro at Max 2025

Adobe has unveiled advanced AI features for its Creative Cloud apps, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom, at its annual Max event. The standout enhancement in Photoshop is the upgraded Generative Fill, allowing users to select from multiple AI models, such as Google’s Gemini 2.5 and Black Forest Labs’ Flux.1 Kontext, enhancing creative flexibility. Users can generate content with simple text prompts, expediting the editing process. An AI Assistant is also in beta, streamlining tasks through natural language commands.

Lightroom’s new “Assisted Culling” feature leverages AI to filter photos based on quality, saving time for photographers. The upgraded Firefly Image 5 model delivers sharper four-megapixel images and improves context-aware editing. Meanwhile, Premiere Pro’s AI Object Mask isolates subjects in videos, transforming tedious masking tasks.

These updates symbolize Adobe’s dedication to integrating generative AI, enhancing creativity and efficiency for both photo and video creators. Users can anticipate a more intuitive editing experience across projects.
