Adobe Unveils Firefly App: AI-Powered Image and Video Creation Now in Your Hands

Adobe has launched the Firefly mobile app for iOS and Android, allowing users to generate and edit images and videos using AI-powered tools directly from their phones. This app integrates seamlessly with Creative Cloud applications, letting creators shift effortlessly between mobile and desktop environments. Key features include Text to Image, Text to Video, and Generative Fill for modifying visuals. Additionally, the new Firefly Boards platform facilitates collaboration among creative teams, enabling real-time ideation using various media formats through AI-generated content. Adobe has expanded its generative AI model ecosystem by partnering with Ideogram, Luma AI, and others, enhancing creative options. To ensure transparency, Adobe provides Content Credentials for AI-generated assets, showing the origins of the content. The app is experiencing significant growth, with over 24 billion assets produced, indicating strong engagement from creators. Firefly is available for download, with Firefly Boards in public beta, under Adobe’s Creative Cloud Pro plan.
