Their IVF attempts were hindered by the husband’s azoospermia, a condition resulting in no measurable sperm in semen. Traditional methods yielded no success, leaving them disheartened. With STAR, AI analyzed their semen sample and identified three hidden sperm, which were successfully used to fertilize eggs. The wife expressed her disbelief and joy upon learning of the pregnancy, due in December. Dr. Zev Williams, who led the research, highlighted the potential of AI in revolutionizing fertility treatments, helping to identify rare sperm that would otherwise remain undetectable.
