AI App Inspired by Rabbi Manis Friedman Targets Christian Audience

An app named Revayah, suspected of being Christian-operated, is under scrutiny for using an unauthorized AI likeness of Rabbi Manis Friedman in its advertisements targeting the Jewish community. Promoted as a Jewish educational platform, Revayah features incorrect Hebrew wording and a lack of authentic Jewish imagery. Despite offering stories from the Torah, the site omits names or reliable references, raising concerns about its true intentions. Past comments on Reddit hint that users nearly mistook the app for a legitimate Jewish resource. Developer Fazeel Jabbar Kadalakkaran is linked to other AI apps, but details about him or the organization behind Revayah remain unclear. The term “Revayah” is tied to Christian missionary activities, further complicating its identity. Rabbi Friedman’s family is alarmed, stating that the app exploits his likeness for commercial gain. They are exploring legal action but have yet to receive a response from Revayah.
