AI Chatbot and Mobile App Unveiled as Pashu Palan Mela Concludes in Ludhiana

The Pashu Palan Mela concluded at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, showcasing advancements in livestock farming under the theme, “Livestock Farming: Local Strength to Global Standards.” Key launches included the VetBot AI assistant, an atlas of animal anatomy, goat milk soap, Greek yogurt, and various livestock publications. The event was graced by ML Jat from the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) and notable attendees from the agriculture sector. Jat emphasized the crucial role of livestock in enhancing the country’s economy and food security. Vice-Chancellor Jatinder Pal Singh Gill noted the trust of livestock farmers in the university, with significant daily animal hospital visits. Ravinder Singh Grewal highlighted income-generating ventures for young entrepreneurs, such as goat and pig farming. The College of Dairy and Food Science Technology excelled, securing the top position in showcasing innovative value-added dairy, meat, and fish products, enhancing the future of livestock farming.
