Ant Group has upgraded its AI health app, now named “Ant A-Fu,” which symbolizes good wishes and wellness. Launched in June 2025, the app boasts three main features: health Q&A, an AI health companion, and integrated health services. Zhang Junjie, Vice President of Ant Group, highlighted that AQ aids users in managing health inquiries and promoting healthy habits.
New functionalities allow users to log health statuses and sync data from various smart devices. Families can create shared health profiles, track wellness trends, and set goals related to exercise, diet, and lifestyle, complete with reminders. The app offers a personalized experience through its “AI Clinic,” which simulates real consultations by engaging with users via follow-up questions and visuals.
Additionally, AQ can analyze images of skin conditions and medical documents. However, it should not replace professional medical advice, as it connects users to a network of 300,000 doctors for consultations.
