Users can also request personalized playlists tailored to specific themes or moods. Initially announced in February, Alexa+ is positioned as a pioneering tool in the consumer market, enabling tasks like booking reservations and ordering groceries. With over a million users testing the feature, Amazon Music reports a threefold increase in song exploration and a nearly 70% rise in music listening among those seeking recommendations. This strategic launch aims to strengthen Amazon’s competitive stance against Spotify, especially in light of Spotify’s integration with ChatGPT.
