These tools, currently in preview, are designed for developers, security professionals, and operations teams. Aimed at reducing manual oversight and speeding up development cycles, they leverage AI-driven autonomy and scalability throughout the software lifecycle. Early adopters include Clariant, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and SmugMug. The Nova models feature: Lite for routine tasks, Pro for complex tasks with high accuracy, and Sonic for expanded multilingual capabilities. The Kiro agent acts as a virtual developer, enhancing bug triage and code management, while the Security Agent delivers embedded security checks within development workflows. The DevOps Agent automates incident response, integrating with observability tools for improved resilience. AWS’s focus on these agents is rooted in enhancing productivity and minimizing bottlenecks in software operations.
