Amazon Sees 22% Surge in Advertising Revenue, Reaching $15.7 Billion in Q2 2025

Amazon’s Q2 2025 financial results revealed advertising services revenue of $15.7 billion, marking a 22% year-over-year growth, significantly outpacing the overall revenue increase of 13%. This growth is attributed to a robust full-funnel advertising strategy that connects brands with consumers across a diverse range of platforms including Amazon’s retail marketplace, Prime Video, and live sports. CEO Andy Jassy highlighted strategic partnerships with Roku, enabling access to 80 million Connected TV households, and Disney’s ad exchange, enhancing reach to premium content across Disney+, ESPN, and Hulu. Moreover, Amazon’s investment in artificial intelligence optimizes campaign performance, providing advertisers sophisticated targeting capabilities. The company’s programmatic advertising platform, Amazon DSP, continues to gain recognition, contributing to its position as the third-largest digital advertising platform after Meta and Google. Looking ahead, Amazon projects sustained revenue growth, supported by expansions in Connected TV and a strong focus on first-party data utilization, enhancing overall ROI for advertisers.
