admin

A recent NBC News Decision Desk Poll, powered by SurveyMonkey, reveals that American attitudes towards artificial intelligence (AI) are nearly evenly divided, with no significant differences by age or political party. About 44% of adults report using AI tools like ChatGPT regularly, while 56% use them rarely or never. Opinions on AI’s future impact are mixed; 44% believe it will improve their lives, but 42% feel it will worsen them, with few strong partisan divisions.

In education, public sentiment is also split: 53% support integrating AI into schools to prepare students for the future, while 47% favor prohibiting its use. The poll, conducted from May 30 to June 10 among over 19,000 adults, shows educators and parents are grappling with AI’s increasing accessibility and influence on students, leading to varied responses about its role in education. The survey has a margin of error of ±2.1%.
