Amplitude Unveils MCP Server: Empowering Businesses with AI-Driven Behavioral Insights

Amplitude has launched the public release of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, alongside an open beta for its innovative AI Agents. This advancement allows businesses to tap into Amplitude’s behavioral data through familiar AI environments, such as Claude and Cursor, enhancing their analytics experience. Companies can now ask straightforward questions—like “which features improved retention this month?”—and receive immediate answers driven by real-time Amplitude data. Wade Chambers, Amplitude’s Chief Engineering Officer, emphasizes that behavioral context is vital for delivering exceptional digital experiences. Innovative users, like Zip, report accelerated insights and greater accessibility to data analysis. The new open beta includes two AI Agents: the Dashboard Agent, which automatically analyzes dashboard trends and metrics, and the Session Replay Agent, which provides qualitative analysis of user interactions. Amplitude MCP and AI Agents are set to transform how organizations derive actionable insights from data, streamlining decision-making and enhancing product development.
