Anthropic’s Claude Now Can Integrate Your Previous Conversations with Other AI Chatbots

Anthropic has streamlined the transition to its Claude AI chatbot with a new memory import tool, allowing users to transfer memories and context from competing chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot. By simply copying the output from the tool into Claude, users can seamlessly continue their conversations. It takes about 24 hours for Claude to integrate the new context, and users can view updates via the “See what Claude learned about you” button. The “Manage memory” feature in the app’s settings enables users to customize what Claude remembers, focusing primarily on work-related topics for enhanced collaboration. This user-friendly innovation comes as Claude ascended to the number one spot in the App Store’s free apps chart, overtaking ChatGPT amidst growing dissatisfaction over AI governance issues related to the Department of Defense. As users shift away from ChatGPT due to controversies, Claude’s popularity continues to rise.
