A new report indicates that an advanced, AI-powered version of Siri is set to debut on June 8 during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), alongside iOS 27. This next-gen Siri aims to create a more integrated experience, akin to Google’s Gemini features across its platforms. Renowned Apple insider Mark Gurman suggests a prototype has already been tested, featuring enhancements like a dedicated Siri app that displays previous conversations in an intuitive layout similar to messaging apps. Users may interact with Siri in two ways: through traditional prompts or accessing Siri via the Dynamic Island on high-end iPhones. Additionally, a “Write with Siri” feature could appear above the keyboard, and built-in apps may offer an “Ask Siri” option for streamlined interactions. However, key personalization elements linked to user data and screen awareness are reportedly expected later this year. Stay tuned for further updates from Apple as the launch date approaches.
