Archetype AI Inc., a startup known for its AI agents that optimize sensor data processing, has secured $35 million in Series A funding, led by IAG Capital Partners and Hitachi Ventures. This follows a $13 million seed round last year. Based in Palo Alto, Archetype develops an AI platform for industrial applications, integrating three key agents: one for monitoring equipment malfunctions, another for ensuring compliance with best practices, and a third for scanning for hazards. Notably, the platform’s Newton AI models correlate diverse sensor data, enabling advanced analysis and predictive maintenance, including synthetic data generation to fill historical gaps.
