Osee Soke is revolutionizing communication for people with hearing impairments through his startup, DeafSync, based in Benin. Founded in 2023, DeafSync focuses on developing AI-powered tools that bridge communication gaps in various settings, including education and healthcare. One standout product, Deaf Translator, converts written text into sign language videos and vice versa, integrating a sign language learning feature for enhanced training. The company prioritizes user input during product development to address real-world needs effectively. Additionally, DeafSync offers Lambda, an online training platform that provides over a dozen courses, including data science certifications and job preparation services like CV reviews and interview support. Soke, a 2021 graduate in computer programming from the University of Abomey-Calavi, began his career as a mobile developer intern and later worked as a freelance software engineer.
