The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has partnered with Digital Bridge Partners (DBP) to launch the Digital Factory Passport (DFP), an AI-powered Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance framework. This innovative tool is designed to enhance transparency and accountability within Bangladesh’s ready-made garment (RMG) sector while boosting global competitiveness. The DFP aims to streamline data management, simplify sustainability reporting, and alleviate audit fatigue for factories. By employing AI-driven analytics and a standardized compliance model, the initiative will help factories meet international buyers’ ESG expectations, reinforcing Bangladesh as a preferred global sourcing hub. BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan emphasized the role of digital innovation in fostering ethical manufacturing and long-term industry growth. The initiative positions Bangladesh as a leader in responsible production, with Digital Bridge Partners committed to enhancing digital transformation in the garment sector. This partnership marks a significant step towards a more resilient and transparent manufacturing ecosystem.
