Bitrig: The Vibe Coding Platform Launches Mac App for iPhone App Development

Bitrig, developed by former Apple engineers who created SwiftUI, now allows users to build iPhone apps directly from Mac via prompts. Initially launched for iPhone, the Mac version was highly anticipated and meets user demands after its October release. It generates Swift and SwiftUI code for apps that can be submitted to TestFlight or the App Store. The Mac app enhances user experience with a larger screen and full keyboard support, along with access to the Xcode toolchain and iOS SDK frameworks. Features include image uploads, an integrated iPhone simulator for project previews, and one-click app deployment to connected devices. Users can edit code manually to familiarize themselves with Swift syntax and can export their projects as standalone Xcode projects. Bitrig operates on a credit system, with monthly limits varying by subscription tier, allowing credit sharing between iOS and Mac. It requires macOS Sequoia 15 or later for installation.
