Announced at bbcon 2025, the Development Agent assists fundraisers with donor management and communication, enabling organizations to increase efficiency without adding staff. This initiative transforms traditional software into a “system of intelligent action,” integrating AI capabilities across finance and development. Blackbaud’s AI tools also include Chat for Blackbaud AI and Document Intelligence, streamlining operations and donor engagement. The AI Coalition for Social Impact will promote responsible AI usage, offering a free certification course on AI fundamentals for social impact professionals. Blackbaud emphasizes ethical governance in AI development, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance. As part of its “Intelligence for Good” strategy, Blackbaud continues to innovate, projecting a five percent revenue growth for 2025, supported by its robust philanthropic database and predictive analytics.
