Attie, the innovative AI assistant from the team behind Bluesky, is designed to empower users to create personalized algorithms. Launched at the Atmosphere conference by former CEO Jay Graber and CTO Paul Frazee, Attie utilizes Anthropic’s Claude and operates on Bluesky’s AT Protocol (atproto). This cutting-edge app enables users to generate custom feeds by inputting natural language queries like “posts about folklore, mythology, and traditional music.” Initially, these feeds will be available exclusively within the Attie app, with future plans to integrate them into Bluesky and other atproto applications. Additionally, users will eventually have the opportunity to use Attie to build their own apps without prior coding experience. Graber emphasized that Attie’s agentic coding tools make the open protocol accessible to all.
