Capgemini and UNICEF Unveil AI Tool to Link Youth with Sustainable Career Opportunities

Capgemini has launched an innovative AI-driven career assistant, designed to aid young individuals in discovering green learning opportunities and sustainable careers, in collaboration with UNICEF. Initially implemented in Brazil, this tool utilizes a multi-agent AI system to provide personalized career guidance 24/7, particularly benefiting vulnerable and climate-impacted communities. It aligns with UNICEF’s Green Rising initiative, which has empowered over 27 million youth with green skills. Originating from Capgemini’s Global Data Science Challenge, the tool engages users through conversational interviews to assess their skills and aspirations, identifying gaps and suggesting appropriate training. CEO Niraj Parihar emphasized the urgency that young people feel regarding climate issues and their desire to contribute solutions. Early testing indicates an impressive 80% success rate in aligning users with suitable career paths. UNICEF’s Nadi Albino reinforced the potential of personalized AI in connecting youth to meaningful opportunities in the green economy.
