Cato Networks Enhances SASE Cloud with AI Protection Through Aim Security Acquisition

Cato Networks has acquired Aim Security to bolster its Cato SASE Cloud Platform, focusing on secure adoption of AI technologies. Recently surpassing $300 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), Cato also expanded its Series G funding to $409 million, thanks to Acrew Capital. The acquisition enhances Cato’s capabilities, positioning SASE as the central control point for AI interactions amid rising security risks. Shlomo Kramer, CEO, emphasized the pivotal role of AI transformation in shaping enterprises over the next decade.

Aim Security’s solutions cover crucial areas: securing public AI apps, safeguarding private AI applications, and ensuring the AI development lifecycle’s security. Notably, Aim’s research identified the first zero-click AI vulnerability in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Cato’s cloud-native SASE platform, designed for comprehensive visibility, integrates Aim’s AI security features to effectively counter emerging threats, making it an ideal solution for businesses looking to securely leverage AI capabilities.
