Character.AI Launches New Video Generation Tool, Community Feed, and Enhanced Interactive Features

Character.AI announced the launch of new multimodal AI features aimed at enhancing user interaction on its platform. Key innovations include an image-to-video tool, AvatarFX, allowing users to create videos using character images and text prompts. The platform will also introduce “Scenes,” enabling users to start with pre-existing storylines for role-playing without typing out the premise, with plans to let users create their own scenes later this summer. Additionally, the “Streams” feature allows dynamic interactions between characters based on selected topics. The Profile Redesign enables users to customize their profiles to showcase their creations. Lastly, a Community Feed will facilitate sharing of content such as artwork and animations. While some features are available now, others will roll out soon, with c.ai+ subscribers receiving exclusive tools.
