Miyamura showcased how, through a malicious calendar invite, ChatGPT could be tricked into reading private emails, leading to potential data leaks. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin criticized the governance of AI systems, asserting that reliance on a single large language model for decision-making is fragile. He proposed a market-based “info finance” governance model to enhance oversight and diversify AI input. As ChatGPT’s MCP is currently restricted, users should be aware of risks associated with granting permissions, as many may unintentionally approve harmful actions due to decision fatigue.
