Clarins Unveils AI-Driven Skin Analysis Tool for Retail

Clarins has introduced the AI Skin Observer, an advanced technology mirror that analyzes up to 22 skin parameters using biophysical sensors and facial imaging alongside AI algorithms honed over years. This innovation is part of Clarins Group’s commitment to beauty tech, AI, and personalized customer experiences, now available in 20 retail locations worldwide, including prominent stores like John Lewis Oxford Street and Printemps Haussmann. A simplified online version is also accessible in the US, UK, and France.

The AI Skin Observer enhances in-store consultations by providing unique skin insights, empowering beauty advisors to focus on client needs. Katalin Berenyi, Clarins’ General Manager, emphasizes the tool’s seamless integration into retail, extending expert analysis beyond visible skin aspects. This launch follows other tech initiatives, like the customizable Lip Oil Factory, D2C customer service app, and AI-powered customer care bot, highlighting Clarins’ strategy to leverage beauty tech for growth and enriched customer engagement.
