While AI is embraced by 78% of developers, concerns persist, particularly around data privacy (24%), job displacement (14%), and the risk of errors (14%). A mixed outlook exists on how AI may affect entry-level roles; while 45% believe it could ease barriers for junior developers, 37% fear it will make competition tougher. Developers primarily use AI for code generation (48%), testing (36%), and code reviews (36%). However, 59% admit to using AI-generated code without full understanding, which raises potential security risks. Developers must navigate the gap between automation speed and comprehension in AI-generated solutions.
