Digital Jersey has launched the AI health tool, Heidi Health, at Health Plus GP practice in Jersey, marking the first use of an AI scribe in the region. This innovative tool transcribes consultations, allowing GPs to focus on patient interactions instead of note-taking. Recognized in over 50 countries, Heidi Health transforms medical information into structured notes tailored to GP needs, enhancing communication and patient experience. It can also draft referral letters while ensuring compliance with Jersey’s data protection regulations, requiring patient consent and secure data storage within the EU.
Supported by Digital Jersey, this implementation aligns with Jersey’s Digital Strategy for Health and Care, aimed at digitizing healthcare for improved patient outcomes. Dr. Ed Klaber of Health Plus emphasized that Heidi Health enhances GP presence, saves time, and boosts patient satisfaction.
