Duke University Launches Pilot Project Exploring the Benefits and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

As generative AI tools like ChatGPT gain traction in education, faculty and students at Duke University are navigating their impacts. Following the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, Duke provided all undergraduates and staff access to ChatGPT-4 and introduced DukeGPT for enhanced learning privacy.
