Over 300 educators from Sta. Rosa and Calamba, Laguna, are integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their teaching as part of a nationwide initiative to modernize education in the Philippines. Recent training sessions on Nov. 28 and Dec. 4, 2025, equipped teachers with AI-powered tools to streamline lesson planning, assessments, and classroom management. This initiative, a collaboration between CitySavings Bank and Khan Academy Philippines, aims to address learning gaps, especially in remote areas, by providing free access to advanced digital resources like “Khanmigo,” an AI teaching tool. Educator Mikee Landicho praises the technology for enhancing problem-solving skills through interactive exercises and instant feedback. Paula Ruelan from CitySavings highlighted the initiative’s role in developing a “future-ready” learning environment, benefiting both educators and students. This effort complements previous support, including donated laptops and equipment, as organizers work to expand the program to more public school divisions nationwide.
