Enhanced TikTok: Personalized Feeds and AI-Driven Filters

TikTok is enhancing user experience with new updates that allow for greater feed customization. The “Manage Topics” feature enables users to adjust the frequency of content from over 10 categories, such as art and sports, without completely blocking them. This offers flexibility as interests change. Additionally, TikTok is rolling out “Smart Keyword Filters,” an AI-driven tool for blocking specific and related keywords, allowing for up to 100 filters currently, with plans to increase this to 200. Users can also easily modify their keyword preferences. Alongside these features, TikTok is introducing a new learning guide to help users better understand and optimize their feeds, offering tips, content recommendations, and explainer videos. These updates aim to enhance the customization already available, which includes features like marking content as “Not Interested” and enabling Restricted Mode for safer viewing. This rollout targets both teen and adult users.
