Google Home is set to introduce a subscription model, transitioning features from the Nest Aware plan into a new “Home Premium” service. This subscription will have two tiers: the Standard plan at $10 per month and the Advanced plan at $20 per month. The Standard tier includes features like Gemini for Home, 30 days of event video history, intelligent alerts, and familiar faces detection. On the other hand, the Advanced tier encompasses all Standard features, plus 60 days of event history, AI notifications, and 24/7 video history. Users can also expect enhanced automation features and alerts for smoke and carbon monoxide detection. With these updates, Google aims to offer users smarter home management solutions while integrating advanced AI functionalities. Note that Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra users will access these new features at no extra cost, making it a compelling upgrade for Google Home users.
