In a society that idolizes youth, embracing aging gracefully can be more attractive than attempting to prevent it with fillers. With concerns over premature aging, many, including myself, wonder about the implications of cosmetic interventions as we age. Enter FaceApp, a popular AI-powered age transformation app since 2017, which allows users to visualize their future selves with various age filters. While the free version has limitations, a premium subscription offers enhanced features. My experience with FaceApp highlighted realistic aging aspects but also raised privacy concerns—users’ photos are only temporarily cached and protected. Seeking personalized skincare advice, I consulted ChatGPT, which suggested a routine and non-toxic alternatives to Botox, like microcurrent devices and natural ingredients. Ultimately, using AI for aging predictions sparked important discussions about skin health. Perhaps the best approach is embracing aging with dignity, celebrating every age’s beauty while considering skin care choices.
