The inaugural Delmin Expo 2025, held in Trichy, is spotlighting innovations in robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and advanced manufacturing technologies. Organized by the Trichy District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (TIDITSSIA) at the Kalaiarangam hall, this three-day event aims to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cauvery delta districts, particularly addressing labor shortages. “The expo’s primary goal is to introduce entrepreneurs to emerging technologies and government schemes that can optimize production,” stated Muhil P Rajappa, TIDITSSIA president. Featured were 90 stalls showcasing locally assembled electric scooters, modern laser cutting technologies, and advancements in plastics and textiles. The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation (CEDI) from NIT Trichy promoted student innovations, while a stall called ‘Invest in Nagapattinam’ attracted potential investments for a new industrial park. TIDITSSIA plans to make this expo an annual event, contingent upon securing proper access to a designated 10-acre site for future exhibitions.
