Finastra has introduced new generative AI capabilities to its Filogix Expert Pro Canadian mortgage software, aimed at enhancing efficiency for brokers. These advancements, according to Jonathan Wootten, Head of Filogix, are designed to save time, reduce manual errors, and improve customer service. Key features include the Pro Chatbot, which provides instant answers to mortgage-related queries, and automated email functionalities that draft, summarize, and suggest relevant information for client communication. Additionally, the software now offers document data extraction, streamlining the collection of key data from various documents. Adam Lieberman, Finastra’s Chief AI Officer, highlighted a significant rise in AI adoption, with 61% of financial institutions embracing AI technologies, particularly generative AI. The updates to Filogix Expert Pro contribute to optimized workflows, enhancing the overall consumer experience and allowing brokers more time to focus on new opportunities and expedite funding deals.
