Florida A&M University (FAMU) is set to kick off a national Google Gemini campus tour on April 1-2, engaging students through interactive demonstrations and AI learning experiences on Paddyfoote Lawn. This two-day event, organized by the Division of Academic Affairs, also marks the start of FAMU’s STEM Week and expands access to Google Workspace campus-wide, enhancing collaboration, productivity, and innovation in teaching and learning. Dr. Allyson L. Watson emphasized FAMU’s commitment to preparing students for the evolving workforce by integrating emerging technologies. The tour will feature product tips, demonstrations, snacks, and chances to engage with Google representatives, while students can participate in a brief survey for a chance to receive an exclusive Owala bottle. This initiative aligns with FAMU’s strategy to improve digital readiness and student success, making Google Workspace accessible to the entire university community for enhanced academic engagement.
