Gaokao Exam: AI Tools Suspended and Key Updates You Need to Know — TradingView News

admin

In response to concerns about academic integrity during China’s gaokao college entrance exams, major Chinese tech firms, including Alibaba, Tencent, and ByteDance, have temporarily suspended image recognition features in their AI tools. Alibaba’s chatbot Qwen halted its photo-based question-answering service from June 7 to June 10, mirroring actions taken by Tencent’s Yuanbao and Moonshot’s Kimi apps. Additionally, Alibaba has settled for $433.5 million with investors alleging that the company misled them regarding regulatory issues faced by its affiliate, Ant Group, impacting its IPO and lending operations. This settlement aims to resolve these claims, providing investors an opportunity to file for payouts.
