Google has announced a significant update to its Gemini app, introducing NotebookLM integration on the web version, available via the ‘plus’ menu at gemini.google.com. Users can now add recent notebooks easily, choosing multiple entries to integrate into their prompts. This feature enhances productivity, joining existing functionalities like file uploads and photo imports.
Additionally, Google has updated usage limits for the Gemini app. General access to the Gemini 3 Flash model is available across all tiers, while free users experience “Basic access” with variable daily limits. Free users can generate five Deep Research reports, while AI Pro members enjoy up to 100 prompts daily, and AI Ultra users receive 500.
Notably, Gemini 3 Flash now works with the “Your past chats” context setting, enhancing user experience. This development comes as users await further features, potentially linked to future Gemini 3 models.
