The Gemini app is becoming more personalized and efficient with the introduction of scheduled actions, which allow users to automate routine tasks and receive tailored updates. This feature enables users to request specific tasks at designated times or convert existing prompts into recurring actions, all manageable through the scheduled actions page in settings. Users can, for instance, wake up to summaries of their calendar and unread emails, receive creative suggestions like five blog ideas every Monday, or stay updated on their favorite sports teams. Additionally, one-time requests, such as asking for a summary of an award show, can be easily set up. This functionality is available to Gemini app users with a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription, as well as qualifying Google Workspace business and education plans.
